Sílvia Lopes has been carrying out her research activity in the field of contingent work, analyzing variables such as the motivations and well-being of temporary workers inside and outside work. It was in this area that she elaborated her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Professor Doctor Maria José Chambel. In addition, Sílvia Lopes has been studying other populations, such as Portuguese militaries.
