Salomé Vieira Santos

PhD in Psychology (specialization area – Clinical Psychology) by the University of Lisbon (2000) and Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology – Specialty College of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (2016). Has been teaching on undergraduate, master and doctoral courses. Currently full member of the CICPSI (since 2017), having previously been a member of other research centers financed by FCT (CIPUL and CPCE-DCP). The research has focused on clinical and health (pediatric) psychology, developmental psychology and child protection area, in non-normative life situations and normative stages of the life cycle.

General areas – clinical psychology and health / pediatric psychology, child protection; specific domains – health and development (e.g., neurodevelopmental disorders); parenting and family functioning (in clinical and nonclinical samples); stress and well-being.
