Has research projects in the field of Vocational and Educational Psychology, focusing on career motivational processes and intervention programs for primary school students with characteristics of failure and risk of dropping out. The current studies are centered on self-efficacy beliefs and responsible factors for the formation of self-confidence in children, adolescents and young adults, considering family, social, academic and vocational factors. These issues have been related to topics such as personality, interests, gender identity, parenting styles, satisfaction and well-being and academic performance. Work has also been developed in the field of psychological measurement procedures (eg, personality inventories, interests, self-efficacy scales, parental styles, and satisfaction and well-being), namely intercultural studies of adaptation and validation of psychological population. The research developed is particularly motivated for the purpose of identifying factors that promote well-being, personal development and academic performance, and concern for active participation in combating social inequalities that affect personal development, school and professional trajectories, quality life and the progress of the country.
