My doctoral thesis has addressed Alzheimer’s disease in the perspective of the five-factor model, personality disorders and psychodynamics. At the present time, I am mainly interested in personality, psychopathology and mental health in adulthood, in terms of the general and the clinical populations.


Dimensional models for the assessment of normal and pathological personality in the context of the general population and the population with mental illness, in adulthood.
Translation and adaptation into Portuguese Language of psychological tests to assess personality and psychopathology.
Psychodynamic psychopathology in adulthood.
Aging and personality traits risk factors for dementia.
