The research activities focus mainly on the area of Health Psychology and Illness Psychology, with a M.A. (Representations on adolescence in physicians and nurses and implications for information and communication processes with adolescents with oncological disease and their parents) and PhD degrees (Parental and individual determinants of preschool children’s eating behaviors) in these areas. Colaboration on other works about patient centered communication has emerged parallel to the clinical practice as psychologist in oncology and chronic pain, and as lecturer at the School of Health Technology of Lisbon.
