António M. Duarte performs research activities in the fields of Educational Psychology and Psychology of Art. He has several publications in books and articles in national and international journals, belonging to the editorial board of several scientific journals. He participated in several national and international research projects. He is a member of several international research groups. He supervised several Masters, PhDs and a Postdoc


Educational Psychology: Academic learning in the arts (evaluation and intervention in conceptions of, motivations for, strategies of and approaches to learning in the arts); Psychology of Art: Psychological processes involved in art appreciation and art creation.
